The biggest factor in the SEO revolution is the rise of content. Instead of stung blog posts with the right formatting and wording to make it to the top of search results, users are looking for quality content (not basic or timely information) more than ever. So is Google.
Tutorials and top-ten list articles are a couple of good examples of the types of posts that have great potential for getting backlinks from other websites as references. By using internal linking strategically, you can boost the ranking of other pages on your website. Say you have a popular page that is ranking highly in Google and receiving a lot of traffic. By strategically placing a link on that page to another on your site that you want to rank, you can pass “authority” to that page. Good ways to boost readability include breaking up sub-topics within your content, using images and videos to help explain difficult concepts, and visually highlighting one or two quotable sound bites that illustrate key points.
Avoid SEO Attacks
Search engines are adapting and beginning to favor natural, more speech-like content, so to keep up we have to provide content in the same way. We have to think like our customers and answer the questions they’re asking in as concise and an informative way possible. There are many niche communities Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths or ABC. Its that simple! specialized in different topics, such as films, gaming, programming, marketing, etc. These communities don’t just bring people with common interests together, but also let members submit the latest, coolest content. You can no longer present less information on your mobile site than on your desktop site. Your content has to be the same on both, because, in the future, you can only rank on the information that is on your mobile page. Users don’t like to wait, and we are becoming more and more accustomed to the fast load times, which means your site will be left in the dust when a user must wait.
It’s time to revolutionize our approach to web analytics
There are essentially three phases to a campaign to improve your
search engine ranking: planning and preparation (which includes keyword
analysis and setting up your site), the campaign itself, and ongoing
monitoring and maintenance. A
low-quality web page, designed by spammers for search engine, rather
than human, consumption, will typically be crammed full of the same
search phrase, repeated over and over again. It won’t contain the
related words. Search engines have been tailored to predict the intent of customers, which explains why some searches have features such as local 3-packs, featured images or videos and Quick Answers. Understanding the intent behind searches allows marketers to create content messages and formats that will most likely appeal to customers. If it’s been just a day or two since you made your website and are not appearing on the SERPs, then you might consider submitting your URL to Google (If you haven’t already done).
If you still don’t appear on the SERPs, relax! Google takes some time to crawl and index your website.
Link exchanges can be good too
Don’t rely on the tips you read from unknown sources. If somebody discovers the secret to rank first on Google for competitive keywords, it’s very unlikely that they will share it with strangers. Before writing a blog, it’s important that you conduct a keyword search to rank high on Google. So content marketing is one of the 3 main pieces to SEO, but has been around for longer than SEO because of things like Michelin Stars and Guiness Book of World Records, which were essentially ingenious examples of content marketing for the tire company and the beer company respectively. Gaz Hall, an SEO Expert from the UK, said: "Reviews tell what other people, your customers, think of your product. If you respond to reviews, you show your (potential) customers that you care about their opinion."
Is your industry in decline or a state of growth?
If you have large sections of duplicate text page-to-page – that is a problem that should be targeted and removed. A web page can be given an immediate freshness score based on its publication date, which decays over time as the content becomes older. Launching a new website without putting 301 redirects in place
is literally committing SEO suicide. Not only will you lose all of
your past SEO history, your rankings (and traffic!) will plummet.
Always, ALWAYS 301 redirect your old site pages to your new
ones to let Google know where your new content can be
found. Start focusing on your visitors, on the people that want to buy your product or services.
